They Said It Better Than I Ever Could...

These words that I write, they keep me from total insanity. -Charles Bukowski

Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived, or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed? -Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

Me with writer's block.

I've been wrestling with what I should write about now that I'm not in Afghanistan anymore. I mean that place was an endless well of inspiration for hilarious posts. But now I'm back to normal life and I am running short of shit to write about...

What do you want to hear about?

I love you Mom...

  1. I'd like to hear how you are liking the green---evergreen, and green grass, and your momma's cooking. And what you think of the daily press. And what you think of the coverage of the war. I read about a Major dying in Aghanistan from a motar attack, but unless you live in the city of origin, you have to hunt and peck for any news about our troops. And the snow---how are you enjoying your first winter back? Merry Christmas, Mud Puppy, and Happy New Year!

  2. Wrestling with Writer's Block is common in the blogosphere. What direction do you wish to take your blog? When you stop to think about, what do you think it home or Afghanistan? Is it your family and friends as you see them now? Do you think about the soldiers still serving? Do you think about going back to the suck? Has your life at home become the new suck? Where do you go from here?

This is what AM wants to read :)
