I've been wrestling with what I should write about now that I'm not in Afghanistan anymore. I mean that place was an endless well of inspiration for hilarious posts. But now I'm back to normal life and I am running short of shit to write about...

I'd like to hear how you are liking the green---evergreen, and green grass, and your momma's cooking. And what you think of the daily press. And what you think of the coverage of the war. I read about a Major dying in Aghanistan from a motar attack, but unless you live in the city of origin, you have to hunt and peck for any news about our troops. Is it your family and friends as you see them now? Do you think about the soldiers still serving? Do you think about going back to the suck? Has your life at home become the new suck? Where do you go from here?
