Even The Afghani's Hate The Cubs...
Today in a far away place, known as Chicago.
A game will be played.
It will be an epic struggle between good and evil.
It will be a struggle between north and south.
And let us all pray that the Sox emerge victorious...
Because we all know that Hay Zeus hates the Cubs.
So join me in my prayers and let's hope that all is right in the world tonight.
Go Sox!!!
Later,
I love you Mom...
P.S. As you can obviously see I have nothing to write about. There isn't a thing in the world going on worth writing about. Boredom is rampant. But we are supposed to be leaving in a day or two. So then things should start to pick up again.
But at least no one is trying to shoot me!

How fortunate you are to have a team which stirs your passion! I'm a die-hard O's fan! It's a tough life (thanks to Angelos).
ReplyDeleteHubster and I are going to Philly this weekend, Bro-in-law got us seats right behind homeplate at the new Philly stadium. Hubster is from Philly, so I've been inquiring (he calls it badgering) what color shirt he will wear to the game. I'll proudly wear my Surhoff jersey, I wear it to every baseball game I attend...no matter the stadium! (haven't been to a Yankees game in NY yet).
My oldest son suggested I wear an O's Bird head to the game, so he could recognize his dear old momma. Hmmmm... I think my Orange&White will stand out. Who knows????
I'll keep my eye on the game tonight.

You say "Go Sox", I say "Go Rockies". Isn't life grand? Bless baseball if it takes your mind off war even for just a few hours and next, it's football season.
